JOB DESCRIPTIONJob duties include, but are not limited to the following:
? Analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate the performance impact of blended formal and informal learning solutions that provides delivery systems employees with the knowledge and skills needed to perform the requirements of their roles.
? Develop new and maintain existing learning solutions based upon supporting instructional design documents and strategies.
? Design new and maintain existing learning solutions based upon audience needs, job and task analysis.
? Conduct task/impact analysis of new or changed user tasks, responsibilities, etc. due to new product/program/process releases, upgrades or updates.
? Design and develop knowledge and skill based assessments (written and simulated) that align with learning knowledge and performance based objectives.
? Develop instructionally sound knowledge, skill and job performance based assessments.
? Analyze 30, 60, 90 day performance improvement evaluations and provide recommendations on how to close performance gaps.
? Focus on the development of virtual simulations which incorporate audio, illustrated video, 3D graphics, avatars, etc. to simulate a job environment to ensure the performance based learning objectives are achieved.
? Understand the features and capabilities of various virtual delivery, graphical editing, e-learning development technologies (Captivate, Adobe, Camtasia) and m-learning technologies (Android, tablet, web, smart phone, etc.) and the technical requirements needed to deploy, access and maintain the solutions for internal and external learners.
? Develop computer-based provider education materials using Captivate, and Brainshark
? Lead or participate on work groups/ project teams managing your deliverables to the project goals
? Collaborate with area SMEs to resolve discrepancies, remove barriers, and ensure accuracy of information for education & training
? Develop, plan and facilitate education seminars/webinars for provider staff including executive summary, analysis, and coordination of vendors
? Provides controllership of business and performance targets by monitoring and evaluating performance results, developing corrective action plans, identifying and recommending continuous improvements, and initiating efforts to ensure targets are obtained
? Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of solutions, policies, practices and processes to ensure continuous improvement
? Researches, analyzes, plans, recommends and implements solutions to solve problems and address issues within the scope of the position
? Manages multiple projects or work that may have many internal and external dependencies, are complex in scope, have divisional and/or organization-wide impact, have multiple integration points, a higher level, or risk requiring mitigation plans and are worked within multiple teams of resources
? Facilitates training courses as needed.
? Responsible for preparing and maintaining operational documentation, procedures, and methods including user and reference manuals
Job Specifications: education, work experience, licensure (if applicable) and job-related skills. Required:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
? Must have completed training in instructional design
? 3 years of experience in instructional development, adult learning theory, and technical writing
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Instructional development tools: Captivate, Adobe, Flash, MS office suite
? Demonstrated ability to use Brainshark, Web Ex, SharePoint
? Occasional travel
? Evaluating learning effectiveness
? Ability to work with all levels of the organization; relationship building/interpersonal skills
? *Advanced PC skills including: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred (Business Specific Criteria):
