JOB DESCRIPTIONProduction Coordinator
(administrative, reports, accounting)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Daily activities that will support the sales staff, increase efficiency and boost sales of all items inserted into the brochure, or non-core printed materials. Assist sales representatives and management as needed. Assist with preprint ad plans, layouts, product manifests, production memos, proofs to customers and custom cost estimates. Handle routine questions from accounts and provide regular information updates. The selected individual will also identify any problematic orders as well as help track weekly and monthly sales numbers. The position requires an understanding of print marketing and candidate must be willing to learn about all advertising production elements while working as a liaison between production, management and the sales staff. Assist sales representatives and managers as needed with other clerical duties such as typing invoices or proposals.
REPORTS TO: Retail Sales Manager
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Production and/or sales experience and college degree preferred. Must have excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills. Must be able to work independently. Must have current driver's license with appropriate proof of insurance. Must have computer proficiency and organizational skills.
