JOB DESCRIPTION

The Administrative Assistant will augment effectiveness by providing efficiently coordinated, confidential administrative support performed with integrity and discretion.

The Administrative Assistant must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and be a highly organized individual to be successful in this role. Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. The Administrative Assistant will also possess great customer service skills, effectively manage deadlines, and pay close attention to details while consistently maintaining a professional demeanor.

Conserve manager?s time by routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents
Assists in promoting department related procedures and policies and escalates to the appropriate level when necessary.
Proactively produces high quality materials by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
Effectively interact with all levels of individuals within and outside of client in a manner that promotes confidence and professionalism.
Create and maintain electronic and paper-based filing and organizational systems
Provide historical references by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems
Acquire and maintain knowledge of organization, policies, and resources
Complete or participate on special projects, as needed
Prior experience in same or similar role at Florida Blue is preferred

Five days per week, 8 hours per day, week. Flexible on the days and times (8:00-4:30; 8:30-5:00)
