Demonstrates knowledge of processes and related systems in order to effectively perform their responsibilities. Solves problems by precedent and references detailed instructions and procedural documents, escalating issues and seeking advice when faced with complex issues and problems. Responsibilities: * Completes initial screening and evaluates eligibility of loan modifications per client guidelines and processes * Completes income calculations to determine the preferred modification option based on the delegated authority matrix * Completes recommendations for alternatives, if necessary, outside the delegated authority matrix and submit to Client for approval * Declines requests for modification when there is no modification alternative available * Completes selected underwriting, customer contact and negotiation tasks related to assigned loan modifications * Assists with and/or perform associated doc prep work related to loan modification to include: Docs out/docs in; Funds in; and, Closing * Assists with obtaining confirmation of receipt of completed loan modification package as necessary * Reviews and audits as appropriate relevant information from the Client's servicing system to audit the systems data versus the executed loan modification documents and 'close' the transaction in the system. Ability to work flexible schedule that could include 1st and 2nd shift hours as well as some Saturday hours Basic Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum 1 year with MS Word and Excel * Minimum 2 years of current residential mortgage loan origination or underwriting experience Preferred Skills * Recent loss mitigation/loan modification experience (with understanding this is loan modification program as opposed to collections) Professional Skill Requirements * Strong customer service orientation and customer contact experience * Motivated self starter with the ability to work in a high paced environment * Strong verbal, written and analytical skills * Ambition and strong work ethic * Ability to work in a flexible and production oriented environment where abilities to work independently as well as part of a team are important Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
