This job requires certification that employee has the skill and ability to perform the job duties as detailed below. Employee will be provided training as outlined in the training section of this document. Employee will then be required to complete the essential tasks of the job without assistance. The employee will be observed by the supervisor and the trainer. Employee will be given three opportunities to show ability to perform the job. If employee is unable to perform the essential duties of the job they will return to their previous job if available if not employee will be placed in the general labor pool. The job will then be re-posted.
Employee will also be required to be re-certified on a yearly basis. If employee receives more than three performance warnings in a 6-month period they will be required to go through re-certification to maintain job position.

Under the direction of the supervisor, this person is responsible for operating various equipment including the palletizer, de-palletizer, stretch wrappers, and ticket applicators. This person must also perform changeovers when necessary and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

Minimum Qualifications
Other duties including those not specifically related to the Primary Packaging positions may be assigned.


* Includes Utility Operators, Supply/Relief, Scale Operator, Slicer Operator, Casepacker, Cheese Harp Operator, and Tray Denester

* Responsible for proper operation of assigned equipment in manufacturing Lunchables according to packaging specifications, finished product specifications, and all safety requirements. This includes getting supplies, loading supplies, operating machines, clearing jams and restarting machine, and monitoring machine performance

* Will be trained and rotate to primary packaging equipment

* Operate by the HACCP plans for the product line

* Maintain a clean work area, adhere to all GMP s and safety policies such as LO/TO and Personal Protective Equipment

* Responsible for reviewing work areas for potential losses and loss control opportunities and for reporting hazards, injuries/illnesses, and other losses to Line Leads.

* Effectively utilize HMI display and make minor adjustments per SKU needs

* Detect when adjustments are required based on machine observations and performance, responding to machine faults promptly and correctly for maximum machine up time. Effectively communicate electrical and mechanical problems. Detect supply problems and machine problems and properly respond.

* Assist in product changeovers on the line. This includes mechanical changeovers on each individual piece of equipment.

* He/she must be self-motivated and be able to work in a team environment. Good communication is essential
