General SummaryWill work with patients and their families beginning with the transplant evaluation process and continuing through and after transplantation. The coordinator will organize and facilitate the efforts of the members of the transplant team and help organize patient data for transplant program and UNOS.
Minimum Requirements:BSN with current Ohio licensure (or ability to obtain); critical care experience is required. Prefer experience in lung transplant program and/or experience with patients with cystic fibrosis, and pediatric intensive care experience. This individual will need superb organizational and communication skills while collaborating with the other coordinator the efforts of all members of the multidisciplinary team. Must be highly motivated and have ability to assist in expanding a new transplant program in collaboration with the current Lung Transplant Coordinator. Must pass Pediatric Dosage Calculation exam at 100% accuracy post offer and pre-hire (KH)
