The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation is a non-for-profit corporation affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Foundation which supports innovative contributions to the understanding, research and treatment of breast cancer. The Administrator, in conjunction with Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation Board Members, coordinates all aspects of the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation activities including gift acknowledgements, board meetings, financial recordkeeping, special events, website content updates, and publications. The Administrator will be the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, its fundraising activities and its Boards. The Administrator reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. Manage the coordination and production of all LSCRF communication including website, newsletters, appeals and brochures. Prepare and organize all LSCRF Board and committee meeting logistics including catering, booking rooms, creating agendas, keeping RSVP lists, taking minutes, and email and mail reminders. Serve as point-person for all LSCRF outreach, marketing and fundraising activities. Liaison between Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation and Northwestern Memorial Foundation for fundraising event logistics. Develop and maintain policy and procedures for management of the office and fundraising events to meet annual goals and objectives set by the Board. Financial management of Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation operations to include record keeping of receipts and disbursements, checking and investment accounts, audits and government reporting, gift accounting and receipt acknowledgement, file management, mailing services and coordinating the storage of archived information. Manage LSCRF tribute program including generating letters, tribute cards, and coordination with the IT and finance teams. Establish and maintain relationships with all Board Members, donors, NMH administration and medical staff and vendors. Assist in developing effective strategies to expand fundraising efforts in the areas of major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and event underwriting. The demands of the position require that the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation Administrator have excellent management, organizational, communication, event planning and task completion skills. The Administrator must be comfortable working with deadlines and assume responsibility for keeping large numbers of people informed and involved. AA/EOE.



Experience in professional fundraising in a complex medical, educational or commensurate setting.

Bachelor's degree.
