* Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a leader to manage its SCT Product Leadership and Subsystem Test engineering group\. This group is comprised of subject matter expert engineers in the areas Integration and Testing and production/post\-production program support of Signal Conversion Technologies\. This group is responsible for ensuring hardware successfully flows through the factory, all aspects of integration and test at the signal conversion sub\-system level, and design oversight and design authority for multiple concurrent design activities across many different projects and platforms\. Group skill sets include test methods and implementation, trading requirements, trade studies and specification, radio frequency \(RF\) chain analysis, RF design, basic understanding of radar hardware modes, data reduction and analysis, production and production test support, and hardware troubleshooting\. This group also includes responsibility for project/program management\.Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Lead an engineering design functional group of 13 to 17 engineers including performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning+ Provide project and technical oversight for design activities performed by the group+ Encourage engagement between group members and external stakeholders such as product and sub\-system architects+ Ensure collaboration with test engineering to ease engineering to factory test transition+ Promote knowledge sharing and mentoring relationships between subject matter experts and designers+ Support the streamlining of processes across different departments+ Facilitate technology knowledge acquisition and evaluation+ Develop IPT leaders for matriculation into Product Team Leadership organization+ Maintain and ensure application of design processes and guidelines used in the group+ Develop proposal inputs and review proposal content for both internal and external customers+ Collaborate with peer managers to ensure consistency across multiple work groups+ Lead or support department initiatives, recruiting, technology roadmap creation, cross\-campus/sector involvement, and NCTA project leadershipThis position is located in Baltimore, MD\. This position will report to the director of the Signal Conversion Technology department within Hardware Engineering\.

* Basic Qualifications:

* + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering or Technical degree with minimum 14 years of professional experience; equivalent Master's degree with minimum 12 years of professional experience; equivalent PhD with minimum 9 years of professional experience+ Demonstrated leadership of diverse and inclusive teams+ Experience as functional manager, integrated product team leader, and/or technical team leader+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ Basic understanding of RF electronics+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance
