RESPONSIBILITIES:



The responsibilities of the MCP include:

* Assures services are delivered timely and that client and staff are matched to needs, territories and skill level

* Maintains productivity of benefited staff

* Maintains productivity in the field

* Monitors that supervisory visits are within agency and regulatory requirements

* Assures services are in compliance with MD orders where applicable

* Prepares appropriate materials for regular team meetings with staff

* Conducts team meetings in the absence of the Nurse Manager

* Available for on-call needs of program

* Participates with recruitment, orientation and staff development in the hiring process

* Assures staff are compliant with mandatory in-services

* Performs and insures ongoing performance improvement activity

* Maintains relationships with referral sources, patients, families, the community and subcontractors

* Recognizes patient/client grievances and interacts the customer in a constructive way

* Recognizes employee issues/concerns and responds and interacts professionally with employees to resolve issues



QUALIFICATIONS:

* Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing

* BSN preferred

* Minimum of 1 year of home care experience preferred

* Minimum of 1 year management experience within a healthcare setting preferred

* Registered Nurse currently licensed in New Jersey

* Excellent communication and organizational skills

* Proficient in data entry, Cerner experience preferred

* Valid New Jersey Drivers License

* CPR certified
