RESPONSIBILITIES:



Effective Leadership: Design, implement, and evaluate in-patient Integrative Health & Medicine program and services. Strategically align with service line patient care initiatives. Develop alliances with physicians and other clinicians to ensure full integration.



Account Management: Promotes cost effective use of organizational resources, consistently supporting budget objectives. Responsible for financial analysis at the department level. Facilitates implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of action plans aimed to corrected variances.



Work Flow: Works in conjunction with the Corporate Director, the Corporate Medical Director, and site specific leadership teams to develop programs that achieve accreditation requirements, quality care delivery, and desired patient experience. Defines work processes/protocols, and develops/implements consistent performance standards for each area as it relates to in-patient integration. Directs and develops the strategic planning initiatives for the IHM program to enhance clinical services, increase market share, and identify opportunities for growth. Coordinates operations by interfacing with 3rd party vendors and Meridian s clinical and administration leadership teams to discuss objectives for improving the services offered and ultimately growing market share.



Clinical Expertise: Maintains clinical expertise/credentials while seeking to build on strengths and grow in areas for improvement. Ensures appropriate educational activities are planned and implemented for patients, families, and team members to guarantee implementation of evidence based practices, improve educational performance, and meet established standards of care. Assists in the development of standard treatment protocols and business planning as it applies to in-patient care.



Market Management: Develops and maintains effective communications with service line marketing managers and internal and external physicians. Works with the service line teams to develop effective promotion strategies and acts as a liaison for physician relations. Assists in the coordination and marketing of the IHM clinical programs for Meridian Health.



Data Management and Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on relevant data and metrics as needed and/or requested. Develop, recommend and/or implement actions or process improvements as appropriate.



Financial Management: Involved in the development and/or management of budget for assigned areas. Regularly monitors relevant key financial indicators and performance metrics, modifying business activities where needed in response to changing financial situations.



People Management: Manages and/or assists in the recruitment, development and supervision of team members. Creates and sustains an environment that fosters team member engagement. Establishes clear objectives tied to department and/or organizational strategic goals. Coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.



Other Duties as Assigned: Complete all other assigned duties and projects in a timely fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred



Proven leadership experience required



Knowledge of integrative health program development preferred.
