Position Description: The Market Manager is to build strong business relationship between the hotels and Ctrip, and responsible for growing business for both parties. Market manager requires negotiating favorable room inventory and rate for Ctrip in order to help the hotels to improve market share. The main responsibility for this position is to build a long term partnership resulting in revenue growth and inventory control. Responsibility: Accomplish sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating business contract, promotion/exclusive deal and probability; developing field sales action plans Drive business success by achieving sale goals: 20 business contracts per month Establish and strengthen long-term relationships with hotel partners in a defined market area through managing a portfolio of local hotels Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities. Collect, analyze, and summarize data and trend through internal data and various channels: Hotel News, Market Trend, Flash Sale Websites, and Daily Market News Follow market trend and competitor activity closely, and further provide analysis and recommendations to the management Provide meaningful revenue management consultancy to partners through data analysis, consumer behavior, booking pattern and competitor analysis Study market data, develop and execute business plan in a timely manner Liaise and work with support team at corporate office to ensure smooth execution of processes and plans Lock additional inventory over high demand and compression periods to satisfy Ctrips customer needs Promote Ctrip booking platform and ensure a long-term business strategy in place in any assigned market area Promote Ebooking tool and seek business opportunities in the areas of vocation and air package tour Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
