Job Description

This position is responsible for aggressively driving profitable growth and market share in the global metals market through development and execution of comprehensive market plans, addressing growth in both the OE and aftermarket channels. In addition to setting and implementing strategic direction, this position leads the execution of the global go to market process for metals including creating target end user list, developing marketing communications, setting strategic price position, and creation and delivery of sales/customer service training for all new metals related product launches. The selected candidate will spend 40-50% of time (90-100 days per year) traveling globally to interact with company associates and customers.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive market plans to aggressively grow revenue and market share in the global metals market at both OEM builders and operators. Manage a range of internal and external inputs to develop strategic direction and drive alignment across the organization including engagement with product management, sales, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain as outlined by the tactics of the strategic market plan.

- Drive growth objectives into business planning processes and investment plans for product development, manufacturing planning, and capacity expansions.

- Lead the launch of new products targeting the metals industry including customer targeting, developing marketing communications, setting price position, and creating and delivering training material.

- Bachelor's degree minimum (Engineering or related technical field); Master's degree/MBA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years experience in a combination of OEM/End User sales, Marketing Analysis, and/or Product Management.
- 10 plus years working in the metals industry either at an OEM builder or operator preferred.
- 5 plus years of marketing experience including development of market growth strategy.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Success influencing both leadership and peers across a matrix organization.
