GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

Busy marketing department looking for a part time Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This positions areas of responsibility include working with members of the marketing team to support internal client departments by implementing service line marketing projects. For example: brochure and letter writing, and web-site content updates. In addition the Marketing Coordinator will work with the Director of Marketing to prepare monthly budget reports and invoicing and varied administrative tasks.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works with service line or program clinical and administrative staff to ensure appropriate assessment of program and institutional needs and to collect marketing information needed for marketing plans and marketing activities.
Supports the Director with budget development. Responsible for completing purchase orders, check requests and entering all invoice information into departmental accounting system.
Coordinate activities in developing marketing communications that meet the needs of hospital managers and physicians in promoting their services and programs.
Assist in the development of marketing events and the staffing of these events.
Includes some office organization and monitoring the main phone line.
Related marketing duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree, preferably in business, marketing, or communications, with minimum of one to two years of relevant professional experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Experience with content management system a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
