JOB DESCRIPTION

SUPPLY CHAIN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION INTERN

Objective is to create a roadmap to deliver on the Glass Factory/Digital Transformation initiative. This project is one of our key initiatives in the coming years so we need a forward-thinking, creative, strategic individual to help champion this effort.

* Collaborate with the Competency Center Leader and Supply Chain Leadership Regionally and Globally on the scope of the project.

* Capture and contain the project deliverables into phases and create a roadmap taking into consideration other projects that may have technical interdependencies.

* Work with business analysts and subject matter experts in supply chain to capture requirements and then document the requirements in a format that can be utilized to create a technical specification.

* Collaborate with IT and supply chain to create the business case including benefits, ROI, resources required, funding estimates, etc.

* Draft of as-is technical architecture and data flows

* Draft of to-be technical architecture and data flows based on business requirements

* Identify potential pilot locations and work with plant managers to assess the feasibility of the pilot.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Special Trainings:
Candidate must be enrolled in an MBA program full time and have completed the first year of coursework. 2 years of professional work experience in IT/IS and/or business discipline. Supply Chain Experience a definite plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Highly entrepreneurial self-starter that is able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.

* Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control
Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both divisional leaders and technical teams
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with ERP systems and processes a plus.
Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
Executive presence
Awareness of current and future trends in the industry and competitors
