Job Description
At Saint Mary's we deliver high-quality healthcare where it's needed most, with concern, compassion and respect. For over a century it has been our mission and remains at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to meeting the needs of an ever-changing community, through programs and services designed to accommodate a multitude of patient needs. From state-of-the-art cardiac care to pre-natal classes to cancer-prevention screenings, Saint Mary's makes a healthy difference in Northern Nevada--one person at a time.
Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV, is a 380-bed hospital with more than 3,400 physicians, employees and volunteers committed to the vision and mission begun by the Dominican Sisters over 100 years ago. We're a part of a 42-facility, not-for-profit healthcare system known as Catholic Healthcare West; we have been recognized by the American Psychological Association as a Psychologically Healthy Workplace; and we have recently been ranked #1 in quality in Nevada by HealthInsight, Nevada's Medicare-contracted quality-improvement organization. We have also adopted leading-edge patient-care technologies--including the da Vinci Robotic Surgery System from Intuitive Surgical, and the CyberKnife radiosurgery cancer treatment system from Accuray--and we are home to Saint Mary's Vascular Institute, the region's first and only comprehensive treatment center designed to treat vascular disease.
