JOB DESCRIPTION1.Log into all centers including telephone call center and NotifyMD message center2.Answers all calls 3.Respond to and document all messages received (e.g. NotifyMD message center, voice mail, e-mail, etc)4.Clear all messages before end of work day5.Schedule patient appointments as appropriate6.Coordinate patient appointments with Surgical Scheduling 7.Respond to questions from patients and other third party individuals (e.g. attorneys, case managers, etc)8.Confirm new patient and IME appointments twenty-four (24) hours before scheduled appointment9.Document all add-on requests10.Prepare documentation as requested by a physician, including, but not limited to: a.Third party forms (e.g. disability, FMLA, return to school, etc.)b.IME reports and other correspondence11.Direct patients, as appropriate12.Operate office equipment such as voice mail messaging systems and use software applications to prepare forms and document actions13.Maintain physician office schedules and time off schedules, notifying appropriate parties (administration, clinical, etc) of all changes in the physician schedule.14.Process incoming mail for assigned physician15.Advise requesting attorneys of cost for narrative reports and other special services a.Bill the fees for these special services b.Track payment and completion of special reportsc.Provide a monthly report of open narratives to Administration16.Remove items from physician?s out box and process as appropriate.For immediate consideration for this
