MEP Construction Project Manager
Your MEP Construction Project Manager experience is needed for a diversified Construction General Contractor in Manhattan!
A Manhattan-based general contracting and construction management firm is seeking a full-time MEP Construction Project Manager for Multi-Family Residential, Hi-Rise Condominium and Hospitality ground up projects.
The Qualifications of the MEP Construction Project Manager are as follows:
Must have 10-20 years extensive experience as a MEP Project Manager with Development, Construction, Project Management for ground-up projects including Hospitality, and Multi-family Residential Hi-rise condominiums
Must be capable of preparing all types of bids and budgets (from conceptual, schematic budgets to detailed final budgets).
Excellent written and verbal skills
Familiarity with NYC and metropolitan area subcontractors is required
Bachelors Degree is desired.
Must have 10 - 20 years MEP Project Management experience in Multi-Family Residential, Hi-Rise Condominium, Hospitality, and other construction projects.
Must know municipal permitting and filing procedures for MEP in NYC
The Responsibilities of the MEP Construction Project Manager are as follows:
Will be responsible for preparation of Budget Reports to Clients
Will be responsible for updating and maintaining Master Subcontractor Bidders Lists
Should include leadership skills and experience training and supervising commissioning personnel activities, problem solving, code review & verification, construction document clarification and making ownership decisions in real time to expedite the coordination process due to critical path construction schedule.
Will be lead in client management
Will develop scopes, prepare contractor approvals, prepare leveling sheets, and assist project executive in contractor selection
Will manage and negotiate contractor change orders, and keep logs, manage and maintain for all contractor CO's, RFI's, and submittals
Will provide VE and constructability analyses
