JOB DESCRIPTIONFull/Part Time/PRN: Full-Time

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree and supervisor experience.
High school diploma or equivalent and sufficient previous experience in housekeeping functions. Experience with all house- keeping equipment. **Courses in housekeeping or institutional environmental management.**
Directs daily operations of department ensuring that supervisors and staff have the equipment and resources to attain the highest quality for the department.
Helps maintain department standards with the implementation of the department training calendar.
Maintains customer satisfaction by rounding with/on department supervisors, customers and patients.
Identifies potential problems and apprises Director of status of resolutions in accordance with University policies.
Plans projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables and budgetary constraints to ensure the highest quality service and results. Assists in managing department budgetary requirements and controlling cost established by the department Director.
Develops staffing schedules to meet customer needs and department financial productivity standards.
Assist Director in unitizing, staffing, service levels, quality assurance program, tracking to ensure department standards. Responsible for the execution of services provided to our patients and customers.
Helps develop and implement duty assignments for staff and supervisors. Manages day to day work of the department by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing task & monitoring operations standards. Upholding federal and State standards and regulations.
Establishing a safe work environment for employees; equipment safety, equipment maintenance and safety training.
Establishes and maintains operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates to the department staff.
Promotes and supports workplace diversity.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
