JOB DESCRIPTIONSandhills Center is a multi-county North Carolina Local Management Entity - Managed Care Organization charged with the development, management, and oversight of an array of mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services for children and adults. Services are delivered through provider community consisting of private non-profit, and private for profit service providers. Sandhills Center serves a nine county geographic area, consisting of Anson, Guilford, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Randolph, and Richmond counties.
This position will provide clinical support to specialty courts and will serve as the lead for Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training for first responders. Provide consultation and training to specialty court personnel, as well as to providers working with consumers with specialty court involvement. Identify where gaps exist in service delivery and assist in bridging those gaps. Serve as lead contact for Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training for first responders, to include developing and executing CIT trainings across the catchment area. This position provides clinical leadership and administrative support/direction to the MH/SA Justice team.
