Superiorgroup is looking for an MS Access Reports Developer/ Analyst for a contract position in Milpitas, CA

Our Client is seeking a creative and organized professional as a Planning Analyst within Global Operations. This person will functionally support the service organization and several Product Planners whose goal is to ensure service parts are available worldwide to our customers. The Planning Analyst will be joining a team of Strategic Product Planners that are analytical, collaborative, supportive, and diverse. The role of Planning Analyst will entail working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The right candidate will have experience reviewing, analyzing and arranging large data sets in a way that is understandable and clearly identifies central themes and messages. The Planning Analyst is responsible for creation and implementation of various analytical tools for the Strategic Planning team. The selected candidate will work individually and collectively with Product planners to define and create various reports, Access databases, and general analytics and optimization to aid in the daily operations. The Analyst will also be encouraged to recommend new ideas and efficiency opportunities. Additionally, candidate will be responsible for creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards that give visibility for changes. In some cases, developing automation of existing reports may be required. The right candidate must be able to effectively work and interact with internal/external roles across functional organizations, learn quickly when facing new problems, and comfortably shift priorities as business needs change.
Uses skills as an experienced professional with an understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Special projects focused on gathering key data elements, accurate analysis, development of reporting, summarizing findings, tracking and evaluating results. Tracks, monitors, and reports on projects weekly Diagrams and evaluates existing processes Creates Access Databases and moderate to complex charts and graphs Keep team members informed on status & issues for all projects & ensure alignment between planners Excellent communication/presentation, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be self-driven, independent, yet a strong team player.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
3 years of MS Access reports development analysis experience
1 year SAP experience
2 years supply chain experience
