AEgis is seeking highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) for support of multiple Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) programs. Candidate will be responsible for developing simulation scenarios used to answer study questions and using a variety of analytical techniques in scenario construction. Success Factors (Success factors are simply the results we want this person to deliver, in order for us to consider this person a successful hire):
30 days: Successfully in process accomplishing all security-related activities resulting in access to Government computer networks. Candidate will review and demonstrate understanding of team analytical processes and procedures
60 days: Interact with team and other teammates successfully supporting analysis planning/execution and other activities as directed for mission support. Candidate will become familiar with ongoing projects.
90 days: Develop expertise in executing studies and analyses and accomplish full transition for studies/analyses they are responsible for.
Candidate must possess a Master s degree (Engineering, Physics, OR, Computer Science) (PhD, desirable) and at least 5-10 years experience in performing studies and using military utility analysis software. Candidate will have an analytical background developing equation-based, numerical, statistical methods and or agent-based models. Candidate will have experience in cogent problem definition, documenting assumptions/ limitations/constraints, developing appropriate performance/effectiveness measures, and clearly formulating analysis methodology Familiarity with SEAS and/or AFSPC architectures is desirable. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a US Top Secret/SCI Clearance. Current SSBI highly desireable. Detail oriented with strong analytical skills; detailed knowledge of AF Space and Missiles Center (SMC) processes, organizations, and missions. Extremely organized. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to be part of a cohesive team and deliver the highest quality service. Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
