Essential Functions

JOB DESCRIPTION: Monitors and follows all safety preventive measures and practices. Required to follow all quality guidelines and checks including first piece, last piece and in-process inspections. Requires the ability to conduct and evaluate destructive testing along with visual checks so necessary adjustments to the set-up can be made to produce a quality part. Must be capable of scheduling and prioritizing orders to meet customer demand and on-time delivery. Required to use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, prioritizing orders, printing ship-sets, etc. Possess the ability to make minor program changes on the Fanuc robotic controls. Able to set-up and operate all Warhawk Cell equipment. Fanuc roboticsWauseon roll formingBendersCrimpersInk jet printing Able to read drawings. Able to use a variety of precision measuring instruments (i.e.: bevel protractor, micrometers, calipers, scales, etc.) Ability to identify, analyze and evaluate machine and material problems. Reports necessary machine repair problems to maintenance. Able to make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and machines when necessary. Able to provide training in safety precautions, quality requirements, preventative maintenance, and production practices and procedures. Actively participates in department process team activities and projects. Able to interact with Production and Inventory Control (P&IC), Engineering, Quality, and other plant operations at all times. Promote positive teamwork. Able to foster professionalism with all associates, internal and external customers. Assists department manager with continuous improvement efforts. Performs other duties assigned by department manager. All applicants need to complete an aptitude test prior to interview


Previous robotic and Fanuc experience extremely desirable. Must be high school graduate or equivalent. Must be Unites States Citizen or Permanent Resident Must demonstrate superior performance and knowledge of Math, Reading, and Mechanical Drawings, though testing.
