JOB DESCRIPTIONRequired: a minimum of two years of applicable experience OR graduation from a two-year technical day school machinist course OR four-year vocational technical high school. This individual must demonstrate high familiarity and skill with all the commonly used machine tools. Must have some experience programming the basic (CNC) machine tools.
Will work from (CAD) computer aided drawings or solid models verbal instructions and or sketches. Will program set up and operate Machining Centers and may be required to run or train on a variety of machine tools including Proto-Trak Mills Hardinge HLV Tool-room Lathes surface grinders. Will also use all measuring equipment required to meet part specifications. May require some supervision.
