Machinist

Description:
Two positions are open on our 3pm to 11pm shift due to
growth.
Basic Function: Machines parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs progressive machining on complicated apparatus,
equipment, and experimental and development work to very
close tolerances to blueprints, sketches or verbal
instructions. Sets up and operates various types of
machine tools. Performs necessary hand operations, such
as filing, fitting, scraping, etc. May perform floor
erecting or assembly operations. May instruct other
machinists as to set-ups and fixtures.
Requirements:
Requirements:
High school diploma or the equivalent. Journeyman
machinist level of work experience, including strong
skills in shop math and blueprint reading. Ability to
stand and walk for prolonged periods; ability to lift up
to 80 lbs. Strong communication skills required. Ability
to work as a part of a team. Must be able to pass drug
and background screens.
