JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Major Duties
Supervise maintenance staff.-Maintenance of building, machinery and grounds and procurement of necessary materials.-Responsible for environmental, health and safety for the facility.-Install electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors and other such equipment.-Test, maintain and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers and pressure gauges.-Perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering and plumbing.-Check and repair pumps, fans, valves and motors.-Adjust, repair and replace electrical relays.-Prepare accurate records for preventive maintenance.-Perform related work as required.-Familiarity with OSHA Health and Safety rules and regulations-Ability to use and maintain a computerized maintenance work order notification system-Experience with 480V-3Phase Industrial plant electrical wiring and code requirements, PLC operation, troubleshooting, machine mechanical and electrical operation-Knowledge of mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
-5 years related maintenance experience.-3 to 5 years supervisory experience.-Familiarity with boilers, air compressors, heating and air conditions, plumbing, welding, electrical/electronic equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, heavy manufacturing equipment, and liquid injection molding.-Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.-Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved.-Ability to detect defects in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments.-Ability to interpret and work from pencil sketches and diagrams.-Electrician license a benefit, but not required.
