Job Summary Performs the general operating maintenance, service, and repair of the interior and exterior of the assigned community(s), in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies. Essential Functions 1. Performs general cleaning and maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned, which includes light plumbing, electric, carpentry, painting, cleaning and preventative maintenance work. 2. Responds to cleaning and maintenance requests by residents inside their apartments . 3. Able to get vacated rooms ready to sell in a timely manner. 4. Ensures that walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in the common areas of the community are properly maintained. 5. Must have good communication skills and customer service. 6. Documents safety issues as well as physical plan deficiencies related to local, county, state and federal guidelines. Reviews safety data sheets (SDS) as requested for potential exposure to hazardous chemicals and takes necessary precautions. 7. Responds appropriately to management and/or community emergencies by assisting as needed. This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
