Maintenance Helpers and Utility Engineers work to ensure the general maintenance and repair of IHR properties. Requirements include: knowledge of maintenance trades, basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry; basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment and related tools; basic English language communication and math skills; moving heavy equipment; and working at heights up to 30 feet.

Versatile individual with hands on knowledge of plumbing, heating, electricity and painting. Knowledge of locks and furniture repair desired. Able and willing to auger toilets, shovel snow and work outside when required. Ability to work well with others as well as alone. Must possess excellent Guest Service Skills. Must be willing to perform tasks outside of normal discipline when asked i.e. make beds, help with luggage, etc.

This is a full time position.
