Perform routine maintenance on all manufacturing equipment in the plant. Work is of a nature where decisions are made within limits and guidelines of general practices and procedures under the direction of the Maintenance Team Leader.

Essential Functions Follow established safety and GMP procedures.Follow quality policies and procedures.Perform maintenance activities as part of a team with co-workers.Perform emergency and preventative mechanical and electrical repairs on all manufacturing process equipment. (Includes cleaning, lubricating, adjusting parts, equipment, and machinery).Troubleshoot production equipment throughout the plant.Communicate with production personnel regarding status of the lines.Support production lines and address any abnormal condition(s) of the machines.Perform adjustments and assist line operators with solving problems on different machines to improve quality and efficiency of the lines during production runs and changeovers.Work with operators to monitor all safety items on the machines and keep them in optimal operating condition.Maintain records of repair work performed and equipment parts/components consumed.Maintain tool and machinery part inventory. Verify all tools and equipment are properly accounted for and put away.Perform other duties and functions as needed by the department and directed by plant management.

High School Diploma, GED required or associated experienceBasic Knowledge of manufacturing equipment: including, pumps, motors, conveyors, air valves, and various power sourcesSkills include: Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools including: designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceProblem solving and trouble-shooting equipment failure skills Good verbal and written communication skillsCandidate must be intelligent, friendly, collaborative, and hard-workingGood Manufacturing PracticesAbility to work in confined spaceLock out tag out First responder TrainingHazmat TrainingPhysical RequirementsStanding approximately 95% of the shiftWork in confining environments under / over equipment Lifting less than 50 pounds infrequentlyManual and finger dexterity to make precise coordinated movementsHearing sensitivity to detect differences in sounds.Arm /hand steadiness
