JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate Safety Leadership in support of the Region Americas Safety vision with goals of zero safety incidents, risk reduction, protecting employees at work, promoting safety at home, and improving safety for our customers and in the communities where we work.
Demonstrate Reliability and Maintenance Leadership through the use of Reliability principles such as Reliability Centered Maintenance, Maintenance Work Management, which includes identifying maintenance requirements (Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and reporting Condition Based Maintenance findings through SAP work orders.
Demonstrate Reliability Leadership through leading and participation in Root Cause Failure Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance (development and optimization of Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Turnaround Maintenance strategies in SAP.
Demonstrate Reliability Leadership through the identification, planning, scheduling and execution of an integrated Maintenance Schedule in SAP for all West Region ECOVAR s.
Drive profitability improvement of ECOVAR plants by understanding and influencing factors that impact plant operations - underperforming asset analysis, reduction of losses and GAP identification.
Interface with Commercial team, RBU Project Execution and field on ECOVAR business opportunities, including new installations, upgrades, and re-lifes of existing assets.
Prioritize ECOVAR related issues within the region; Focus attention and efficiently direct resources to have the most beneficial impact to the region.
Maintain close relationships with ECOVAR Technology Manager and other ECOVAR Operations Support Managers to stay abreast of issues facing the overall ECOVAR fleet, Platform driven directives, and safety related issues.
Become knowledgeable about all ECOVAR product lines through training and hands on experience, maintain specialist knowledge on assigned Plant Families and transfer this knowledge to others; Provide secondary technical support and troubleshooting for assigned central area of expertise.
Train area personnel in ECOVAR operating and maintenance best practices.
Drive operational improvements in ECOVAR plants by utilizing performance data and closing gaps where they exist.
Identify underperforming assets (UPAs), evaluate and resolve.
Assist in the creation and management of operating budgets for all ECOVAR plants within the region
Capture plant performance test data, document in EDMS
Drive Engineering and Safety Directives when they emerge
Work with Reliability platform to develop, implement and maintain a spare parts strategy for assigned Plant Families
Interface with RBU proposals and project execution on plant projects to provide technical guidance and project support; assist in the plant equipment assessment process, review cost estimates.
Travel 25 to 50% and provide 24/7 field support
Bachelor Degree Chemical or Mechanical strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years' hands-on process related experience
Expert level technical and industry specific knowledge
Solid business case planning skills essential
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Strong engineering discipline, project & time management required
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Broad practical experience/multiple discipline technical experience in plant troubleshooting, instrumentation, electrical, machinery, and process controls
Must possess proven experience implementing process improvements, best practice and/or change management initiatives
Certified Six Sigma Green/Blackbelt is a plus
