Company Profile: www.gapinc.com Job Description: 2nd shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; 5pm 3am Supports Facilities Maintenance Manager in key responsibility areas Ability to coach, lead and develop team of Maintenance Technicians with varying levels of proficiency and skills Responsible for supervision of any contractors and vendors operating within the facility on assigned shift Provide on boarding safety guidelines to all contractors prior to work being performed Ensures accurate data entry in the CMMS system; ensure accurate recording of inventory Responsible for implementation, training and adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures Conduct performance evaluations for all assigned technicians and clerks Administers corrective action as necessary Provides Manager with a weekly Supervisor summary Conducts regular one on one coaching sessions with direct reports Maintain all mechanical hardware and software throughout the facilities which in turn supports the Distribution Fulfillment operations Understand the impact of all maintenance functions in Gap Inc. Direct and how they directly impact the distribution and contact center operations Ability to communicate, direct and delegate complex instructions on maintenance items and special projects to staff Ability to communicate (verbal and written) to supervisors, peers and direct reports throughout the business, in a professional manner with mutual respect Ability to build and work as a team participant on all building or equipment repairs as required Maintain and support attendance policy and all other Gap policies and procedures Ability to assist in developing Maintenance budgets, control internal departmental operating costs, assist in maintaining Capital project expenditures and reduce daily expenses with-in the department Ability to train and develop Maintenance staff in the key areas of electronics, PLC s, mechanical control systems, drives, motors, reducers, and all general building systems Maintain and comply with necessary Preventative Maintenance program requirements Ability to oversee and troubleshoot maintenance/construction projects consisting of welding, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, plumbing , HVAC and building systems Ability to lead and train staff in the following programs: Lock Out / Tag Out, conveyor safety, proper PM procedures, Maximo work order entry and Inventory. Must also have working knowledge of NEC, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, HAZMAT and PLC programming Ensure effective communications up, down and across the business Model Gap s philosophy as required in Code of Business Conduct and Principles of Integrity Interact with all levels of the leadership team, business partners and peers Job Requirements: Knowledge, skills & abilities: Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient with MS Office software programs Strong knowledge of equipment automation Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Allen Bradly Building / Energy Control Systems Fire protection systems Should have the full understanding and ability of Maintenance Mechanic classifications Schematic and Blue print knowledge are required in Mechanical, HVAC and Electrical maintain high level of professionalism, conduct business with a high level integrity and trust Maintain high degree of appropriate confidentiality Support open and inclusive work environment that welcomes diversity and employee engagement Minimum educational level: Associates / Bachelors Degree is preferred
