Innovative Talent Solutions is actively recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor for our industry leading Mebane client. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment and served 5+ years in a maintenance leadership role. Must be a strong communicator and have a proven aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting.


* Responsible for supervising all maintenance technicians across three-shift operation including establishing plans, priorities, objectives and goals for maintenance function with any safety issues treated as priority
* Oversees all activities in maintenance department including but not limited to repair maintenance, preventative/predictive maintenance and install, repair and maintain equipment and facilities
* Ensure corrective work orders and project assignments are assigned to ensure all repairs are completed in a timely manner
* Work closely with production management to understand priorities and translating those priorities into an effective maintenance plan
* Coach Maintenance Team Leads in organizing and directing efforts of maintenance technicians
* Work with PM Team Lead and Production Planner to develop and implement effective scheduling for all production related PM activities
* Assess Technical Capabilities (mechanical and electrical) of each maintenance technician and develop training plans
* Provide hands-on technical support for down equipment coverage and/or project coverage as needed
* Manage maintenance technician's overtime to meet down equipment demands daily
* Training of operators to perform autonomous maintenance tasks
* Perform installation, corrective maintenance or preventative/predictive maintenance on any/all equipment located on the plant's property
* Prepare and manage maintenance budget and blanket orders for each fiscal year
* Manage outside contractors concerning production equipment modifications, renovations and installations; responsible for compliance with all safety policies
* Utilize computerized maintenance system to initiate record and track all work
* Work with external auditors during facility inspections
* Drive Lean initiatives in the maintenance department (5S, VM, LTA, AM, Kaizen)
* Coordinate plant shutdown activities/logistics


* Associates Degree or Certification in maintenance field
* 10+ years experience in manufacturing environment with 5+ years experience in maintenance leadership role
* Demonstrated mechanical/maintenance aptitude
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Possess strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, MfgPro and Kronos
* Display good team working skills, willingness to learn new technology and develop leadership skills
* Must be able to travel as needed and flexible to work all three shifts if needed to support plant operations
