Specialty Granules LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at their Blue Ridge Summit, PA Plant. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the safe, reliable operation of plant equipment and mechanical systems. Provide for highest level of crew safety and support to mechanics supervised. Work entails direct supervision of maintenance projects and personnel. Maintenance work is performed in enclosed facilities and outdoor areas where extremes of heat, cold, dust, noise, wet conditions and rough terrain exist. Approximately 30 percent of the work is administrative in nature.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have a minimum Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred (mechanical or electrical), 3 to 5 years management and/or supervisory experience and 5 or more year's skilled trade experience. Broad knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems (PLC, conveyors, crushers, and dust collectors) in a mining/manufacturing operation is also preferred. In addition, candidates must possession strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
