Job Description

Responsible for performing safe and efficient maintenance activities for the Mystic 8 and 9 generating facility. The facility is a nominal 1600 MW natural gas fueled combined cycle facility featuring 4 Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) 501G gas turbines, 4 Deltak Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG with catalytic reduction systems and supplemental duct firing, and 2 MHI steam turbines and air cooled condensing systems. Specific responsibilities and duties include:
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Responsible for performing safe and efficient maintenance activities for Constellation Energy generating facility.

1.Supervise Maintenance personnel who perform assigned maintenance activities in the areas of mechanical, electrical, I&C and/or warehousing depending upon experience and professional background.
2.Maintain high personnel and equipment safety and environmental compliance standards and practices.
3.Maximize plant and personnel efficiency and plant profits without degrading personnel and equipment safety practices, environmental requirements or long term operations of the plant.
4.Assist in the administration and oversight of contractors in support of plant maintenance, warehousing activities, and building and grounds maintenance.
5.Assist in the development of the annual budget and training plans for maintenance activities and personnel.
6.Assist in developing and defining overall maintenance policies and procedures.
7.Perform other assigned independent or team tasks such as system expert, industrial safety, environmental.
8.Respond quickly to abnormal plant conditions or requirements.
9.Work with OSHA classified hazardous materials.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:

1.Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
1.Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferred
2.A minimum of 10 years experience with steam and electric power plant maintenance activities, with a detailed knowledge of the activities in both Instruments and Controls and Electrical.
3.A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience..
4.Ability to read and interpret control wire diagrams.
5.Ability to read and interpret DCS/DDC ladder logic.
6.Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLCs, Process Computers, Invensys IA, Water Chemistry Analyzers and CEMS equipment.
7.Ability to work extended hours and respond to call in when required.
8.Experienced in the use of personal computers and a computerized maintenance management control system (Maximo, PI, Excel, Project Planning and Work Flow Management programs)
9.Ability to work independently and as an overall integral plant staff team member.
10.Ability to lead a work effort or oversee contractor work.
11.Ability to climb stairs, ladders work at heights 80 to 100 feet above grade, distinguish colors and respond to on call status.
12.All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
