RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

Direct entire Maintenance of mobile, electrical and plant processing equipment to meet short-and long-range objectives with optimum efficiency.

* Assist in the planning of maintenance budgets through the identification of plant opportunities.

* Ensure project standards and guidelines are applied and adhered to as established.

* Focus on productivity improvements, and root cause analysis to attain cost optimization.

* Ensure regulatory compliance is maintained and documented.

* Write and implement preventative maintenance work orders directed at data development for MTBF and other analyses of plant efficiency.

* Develop and implement improved maintenance processes aimed at optimizing the overall productivity of the plant.

* Coordinates with Maintenance Planner and Store Specialist to assess priorities and urgency of maintenance orders. Assist in the development of the daily/weekly maintenance schedules.

* Establish processes for SAP including training of team members.

* Ensure work is completed to the project standards and guidelines.

* Follow spares management best practices.

* Maintain department budget targets.

* Responsible for daily meetings with production for planning and scheduling of maintenance opportunities.

* Foster continuous improvement on equipment with maintenance team.

Leadership of electricians and mechanics

* Be a positive leader that encourages cross-functional communication.

* Track Key Performance indicators to measure progress of goals.

* Drive culture change from reactive to pro-active in the approach to asset management and reliability.

* Provide feedback to direct reports on daily projects.

* Ensure proper motivation of employees through coaching, delegation, and follow up to suggestion and ideas.

* Provide feedback to direct reports and of those managed.

* Assists in achieving plant operations profit plan

Safety

* Demonstrate environmental and safety regulatory leadership. Support Environmental Health and Safety initiatives and awareness programs.

* Ensure team members have a clear understanding of expected safety performance

ATTRIBUTES:

* Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical power infrastructure and process control systems up to 480 volts.

* Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve, repair electrical motor circuit controls and instrumentation control loops, PLC logic, and programming.

* Self starter with the ability to multi-task, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

* Knowledge of budget process is strongly preferred.

* Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and MS Project.

* Knowledge in SAP and ability to generate required Key Performance Indicator reports in Business Workshop Module in SAP.

* Demonstrated supervisory leadership experience.

* Knowledgeable of current environmental regulations and practices as they relate to the limestone industry.

* Forward looking action oriented team player that works well with cross functional groups.

* Ability to understand and analyze key business driver, develop action plans and execute improvements.

* Ability to multi-task, with excellent organizational and communication skills, proven problem solving skills, and can think "outside the box".

* Must be capable of working shift work, overtime, seven days, or holidays, if needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

* Tolerate working outside in severe weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperature, noise and dust.

* Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.

* Able to lift over 70 pounds.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years of progressive experience in maintenance supervision in mining or mineral processing

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Associates degree in Industrial or Engineering Systems or equivalent practical experience with strong electrical, plc control, and mechanical maintenance background.
