Responsibilities
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will use your electrical, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and painting skills and knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plant, production, and office areas as needed. You will follow standard safety rules and procedures during all projects. You will assist in boiler, generator, compressor equipment, and piping system maintenance. You will fabricate parts, assemblies, and fixtures according to facility and customer work order requests using hand and portable tools and equipment. In this role, you will help janitorial staff with cleaning, snow removal, sand and salt distribution. You will be on-call 24/7 and must be prepared to respond to alarm calls.

Qualifications - Diploma from high school and/or accredited trade school with a minimum of 4 years experience in facility maintenance.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of buildings and building systems operations and maintenance, including some understanding of energy management systems.
- Advanced computer skills with work order request and/or labor tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and EMS system software experience.
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as hand and portable tools, forklift trucks, pallet jacks, staging, lifts, and ladders.
- Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds. May be required to work in extreme temperatures in support of building plant operations.
- Customer-focused.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
