JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities:As a Sales Professional, your primary responsibility will be to sell our print solutions to named accounts and prospects within your assignment. Your job duties will include prospecting for new business and acquiring new print programs within accounts and prospects. You will be required to achieve your quota by consistently performing the required daily activities to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. You will also be responsible for completing customer needs analysis, identifying pressure/pain points for all accounts as well as doing proposals, web tool demonstrations and presentations.
To establish the Office Depot Copy and Print brand and market share in select national/global organizations. The National Business Development Manager will solicit organizations that have the national image and scope to require services that cross print solutions, can enforce consistent pricing and have centralized vendor selection. The National BDM will be serve as an initial single point of accountability that is empowered to deliver the full suite of Copy and Print Depot services and solutions.
It is also expected that the National BDM will work with multiple individuals with the authority to make the purchasing decision residing in multiple locations.The National BDM will engage in customer relationships regardless of the prospects' contractual status and proactively create an awareness and presence with non-Office Depot customers.
Qualifications:High school diploma, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management or Project Management preferred
Minimum 7 years experience in Outside Sales
Other Information:Strong sales skillset Understanding of the customer relationship process, buying process and a demonstrated record of senior level customer contacts A thorough grasp of professional and consultative selling skills to include a history of successful contract negotiations. The close cycle will/can range from 6-18 months and will typically involve multiple decision makers in the purchasing decision. Fluid organizational agility (the ability to learn, understand and navigate an organization at the upper to lower levels). Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) skills and be able to present complex topics (pricing or service strategies). Personal comfort level when dealing with senior positioned customers in professional and social settings.
