comprehensive and complex customer billing for approximately 5.3 electric and 4.3 million gas residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout the PG&E service territory. Billing Operations has a direct influence in delivering a positive customer
experience by processing timely and accurate bills, managing net energy billing, leveraging electric and gas interval meter data, effectively processing meter exceptions, and supporting demand response while conducting load research. Billing Operations Department
provides a distinctive environment for those who are looking to actively participate in a fast-paced, forward thinking, high performing organization in partnership with many organizations both inside and outside of PG&E. Due to the adoption of Community Choice
Aggregation, Net Energy Metering, and default TOU implementation throughout our service territory, Billing Operations will be facing many opportunities to think differently, strategically and proactively. This will place Billing Operations in a unique situation to
leverage customer data, create new business models for PG&E and empower customers to manage their energy usage.Position SummaryThe Billing Strategy and Analytics Manager is responsible for building and executing on a comprehensive road map for
the future of billing operations technology systems strategy and leveraging industry leading analytics and data mining to proactively address billing exceptions and increase overall organizational efficiency. This role will interface with key enterprise functions
such as Billing Operations Exceptions, Complex Billing, and Billing Operations Support groups in Billing Operations. In addition, the manager will work closely with IT on development and enhancement of forward-looking billing systems, as well as with other
essential enterprise functions such as Field Meter Operations, Metering Services & Engineering, Customer Care Compliance, Tariffs, and Regulations Relations. The improvements and associated strategies of this role will enable system architecture upgrades that
are necessary to meet evolving regulatory and customer demands
The work location can be either Stockton or Concord, CA.
