Job Summary: The Manager-Client Services delivers support to client s unique needs and acts as a liaison between the client and the LLUMC Laboratory. Communicates actively with clients, identifies concerns and proactively addresses expectations through on-site visits, telephone and electronic correspondence. Develops and maintains a database of client information, documenting the nature of communications and services delivered such that this information can be retained and easily shared. Assesses client needs and ensures satisfaction, develops and reports relevant metrics. Conducts client educational sessions on LLUMC Laboratory services, materials, tools and processes and develops educational materials. Involves appropriate LLUMC Laboratory staff in addressing client concerns and plays a lead role to ensure client retention by driving the Laboratory to analyze client concerns, prioritize opportunities to improve delivery of service and develop value-added solutions. Monitors and maintains existing client satisfaction and communicates opportunities for improvement and new growth. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Bachelor s Degree in laboratory science or related field required. Master s Degree preferred. Minimum of three years in high complexity laboratory required. Minimum of one year of outreach experience preferred. California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license or CLS (NCA) or MT (ASCP) preferred. Hours vary based on assignment and need. Schedule is as posted by department and hours are in accordance with budgeted hours per pay period as defined on rate slip. Demonstrated history of increasing responsibility and leadership. Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer application required. Excellent analytic skills; excellent ability to plan and organize, and manage projects; clear speaking abilities; inputting data/typing. Excellent dexterity. Possesses excellent verbal and written skills in English. Demonstrates positive interpersonal skills. Cooperates harmoniously with others and shares information in a timely and appropriate manner. Demonstrates the ability to respond positively to changing circumstances so as to maximize the opportunity and minimize the problem. Acts decisively and takes effective action. Ability to function and work in a diverse work environment while offering assistance and providing direction to clients in a concise, sensitive, informative and professional manner, keeping a positive and courteous tone.
