***Position can be located in McLean, VA or Dallas, TX*** The Manager of Commercial Performance will utilize available data to develop reports, analyses and presentations needed to understand brand performance through the use of Microsoft SQL (2005/2008), VBA, VB.NET, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Tableau and Microsoft PowerPoint. The Team Member will manage the Commercial Category Initiative process, develop and update reporting, and hold Team Members accountable for follow up. What will I be doing? The Manager of Commercial Performance will proactively engage and develop professional working relationships with members of the Revenue Management, RAT, RMCC, Sales, Digital, Marketing, and Brand teams to understand the data construct, identify business opportunities and report out on Commercial activity. Other key priorities are listed below: * Develop analyses and views about pertinent metrics, dimensions, and sharing metrics * Develop new, customize and automate existing reports, tools and dashboards in Tableau, Excel, Access, Cognos, MicroStrategy and provide new views with root cause analytical capabilities * Create well structured, concise and professional PowerPoint presentations * Excellent written communication skills sufficient to produce communications that properly reflects the Hilton Worldwide image * Manage ad-hoc requests from senior leadership including deep dives on pertinent subjects * Manage periodic and ad-hoc requests as required * Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and modelling skills * Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team * Ability to manage and organize projects consistent with department and company objectives Hilton World Wide Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
