JOB DESCRIPTIONFunctional Area: Marketing
A multinational company in the Life Sciences and Diagnostic industry is searching for a Compliance Manager to join its US team.
Primary responsibilities include:
o Compile and analyze internal data from various functional departments and external sources in order to prepare and file annual report with US Department of Health and Human Services
o Provide training and course development for privacy and corporate compliance for all employees
o Administer internal program, policies and trainings to ensure Company s compliance with HIPPA regulations, for applicable business unit(s)
o Administer internal program, including coordination with third party intermediaries, to ensure Company s compliance with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
o Provide general compliance support to Commercial Operations team and create systems, procedures, policies and databases; serve as initial point of contact for daily questions and queries regarding HIPAA, HIPAA BAA agreements, and security related auditing
o Keep abreast of the legislation and governing regulations in the above areas of the law
o Work with the Company s Legal Department to identify risks and create solutions
o Plan and administer trainings of the various regulations as required by law or requested by departments in coordination with the Compliance Committee
Bachelor s degree
o Knowledge of US Sunshine Act and reporting requirements (required)
o Knowledge and strong understanding of HIPPA & FCPA compliance requirements (preferred)
o Strong understanding and previous experience with security related auditing, gov t compliance, CFR45, HIPA, ISSO, etc.
o Excellent organizational and project management skills
o Microsoft office (in particular Excel) skills
o Experience working with databases
o Good communication skills
o Ability to prioritize, work efficiently and diligently
o Ability to work independently with limited supervision
o Adept at working with a variety of personalities across a large number of diverse internal groups and teams
o Paralegal experience is a plus
