* Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer manager to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals\. This position will be located in Chantilly, Virginia\. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Assured Identity team within the Information Security Group, supporting enterprise level smart cards, certificate management, and PKI systems\.You will be responsible for supervising a team that is dedicated to managing, administering and supporting all aspects of the internal infrastructure for PKI, smartcard, and certificates\. A key understanding of the importance of service delivery and maintaining a critical infrastructure is imperative\.You will assist in the daily service delivery and operations of the Assured Identity services\. You will work closely with the Manager of Assured Identity by assisting in tracking of assignments / tasks and daily duties of system engineers, system administrators and support personnel\. Additionally, you will assist in the managing of suppliers and vendors, coordinating and managing budget items and tasks, providing assistance with managing the teams work loads and assignments, tracking progress of tasks based on schedules, and creating status reports\.Primary tasks and duties will be:
+ Provide guidance and assignments to staff on a daily basis to achieve the service delivery objectives, project goals and infrastructure/operational needs+ Ability to provide a clear understanding of issues and opportunities and risks associated to both staff and upper management+ Assess / analyze course of action to be able to provide clear and educated decision making in a timely fashion+ Provide guidance and clear direction to supporting project management to concurrence of schedule, budgets and tasking+ Develop a clear understanding of operating policies and procedures+ Assist in the development of strategy and road maps for the organization+ Provide the necessary financial oversight to ensure budgets are maintain within goals+ Establish ongoing working relations+ You will have the skills and abilities to work in a fast paced environment, analyze and interpret issues quickly to bring to quick resolution, work closely with customers and staff to resolve issuesBasic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in related field plus 10 years relevant experience+ 7 years of supervisor experience managing a technical team+ Current Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:
