Role Summary

An authority on issues related to reporting, analysis, and metrics; Recognized as a subject matter expert; Operates with considerable latitude for independent judgment; Provides influence and leadership to cross-functional teams and other stakeholders on ideas and solutions that impact corporate results; Focuses on identifying opportunities, researching data, transforming data into actionable insights, and engaging internal and external boundary partners. Typically manages team of Associates; Provides mentorship and guidance to team member and associates.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Implement and assist with the development of strategic and tactical analytics reports

Reviews and provides input for creation of reports, charts, presentation and timelines in support of department or business operations. Translates analytical findings into business recommendations.

Manages identification, research, and resolution of discrepancies in analytical procedures or cross-functional methods.

Operates large data volumes from various internal data sources. Transforms data into actionable insights.

Researches and analyzes analytics data to determine trends and identify opportunities for customer growth and digital conversion rate optimization

Manages the work of outside expertise engaged to assist or deliver analytic projects

Guides capability development within the delivery organization; including reviews, gap assessments and works to source and deliver strategies.

Manages impact analyses and validation studies and market research through all stages.

Conducts meetings and presentations to senior leadership

Manages development of analytical tools and numerical modeling of complex operations systems and processes. Develops KPI dashboards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum

7 or more years of experience in related field (i.e. web analytics, business analytics, etc.)

5 or more years of experience if candidate possesses a related advanced degree

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

Excellent math and logical skills. Ability to identify trends, analyze data, and extract actionable insights

Preferred

BS/BA degree in related discipline. Master's degree in a related discipline strongly preferred.

2 or more years of experience in a management role preferred

Experience with Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst, Discover, ReportBuilder) a plus.

Experience with implementation of web analytics tools a plus, or willingness to undergo implementation training

Experience with A/B and Multivariate testing (Adobe Test&Target) a plus

Experience with multi-channel analytics (e.g., offline plus online, integration of external data feeds into online analytics, cross-channel tracking etc.)

Experience with campaign tracking, KPI-setting, and results reporting with focus on actionable insights.

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas, statistical tools) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
