POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists with the oversight of all Imaging Services operations. Acts on the behalf of the Director in his absence. Works to ensure that all imaging modalities optimize their diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes. Ensures that patient care and customer service are the first priority of all staff members. Responsible for assisting with the oversight of staffing schedules, Kronos time clock updates, maintaining PLUS productivity standards, employee competency documentation, annual performance appraisals, performance improvement programs, staff education, student clinical programs, and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
3 years related supervisory experience. Must have prior supervisory experience in an acute care setting.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Demonstrated success and abilities in leadership, achieving results, communications, customer service and health care management.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: State of Florida HRS Licensure as a General Radiographer , Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
ARRT Registration.
