KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the daily operations of the Environmental Services department. Provides daily reports to department director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma required. B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited university or college preferred. Certified or Registered Ex. Housekeeper credentials preferred.
Skills: Basic lingual, mathematical, computer skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Knowledge of current regulatory requirements related to environmental services, laundry, infection control.
Experience: Minimum of three years experience as Environmental Services Manager, or five years experience as an assistant department manager preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to provide clear direction to staff. Ability to remain composed during any negative confrontations or demands of the position. Ability to make several daily rounds to work areas. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift seventy pounds from floor to chest level.
