The Manager of Global Incentive Compensation will support the review of the line of business incentive compensation programs and the design of new incentive compensation plans. What will I be doing? The Manager of Global Incentive Compensation will participate in the research, analysis, development, revision, and implementation of incentive plans that are designed to maintain the objectives and a competitive position in the marketplace. The Team Member will work closely with the Director of Global Incentive Compensation to ensure consistency with the company compensation philosophy. Other key priorities are listed below: * Provide leadership across the business on the review and development of the line of business incentive programs; linking programs to the overall compensation philosophy and corporate goals * Determine positions and departments where incentive programs will be effective in accomplishing the overall corporate strategy * Collect data and participate in industry surveys to review the current state of the company's variable compensation system as it relates to the industry * Provide recommendations to upper management on changes to the company's variable compensation strategy * Manage the objectives for the incentive compensation team and determine how those objectives are going to be met * Using data from multiple sources, create models to project the effectiveness of newly designed compensation programs * Provide detailed analysis to upper management on incentive plan effectiveness and measure variances from established projections and metrics * Partner with HR, Finance, and Sales Management to provide solutions relating to strategic sales initiatives and related variable compensation needs * Partner with the broader Compensation team, HR, Finance, and business partners to provide a bridge between incentive plans and other reward and recognition plans * Work with business owners and sponsors to establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of newly developed incentive programs * Conduct annual re-approval of existing metrics and their associated incentive programs * Manage the implementation of controls set by the department head to ensure that incentive compensation remains competitive and equitable throughout the organization * Establish priorities and assign work to appropriate teams to ensure optimal allocation of resources * Evaluate and streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the team and department * Provide analysis to management to facilitate decision-making * Ensure appropriate talent is identified in the department and develop current talent to achieve greater strategic goals and performance * Determine staffing needs and oversee the recruiting, selecting, hiring, training and development of the field Compensation team * Ensure the business plan and goals are being followed and achieved, providing feedback to department head as needed * Work within the established departmental budget * Review and make appropriate adjustments in activities and expenses throughout the fiscal year to ensure optimal financial results and consult with department head as needed * Excellent communication skills: presentations, written and public speaking * Strong problem solving skills * Ability to work independently Hilton World Wide Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
