Job Description

Summary: Develops, directs, and manages a team of subject matter experts and service support staff dedicated to advance product knowledge and sales solutions to all sales personnel, as well as provide operational and client maintenance support to Financial Advisors and their associates/assistants. Continuously evaluates ways to improve the service and solutions provided to Financial Advisors and their teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develop strategies focused on improving interactions between HIS service team and HIS reps, enhancing the quality of service and conversation and creating broker loyalty to the firm.

Collaborate with reps and sales managers to develop new ideas, implement strategic plans, and inspire others to achieve outstanding results.

Design, build, and deliver applicable training programs, enabling learning between service employees and reps.

Identify service practices that both promote and detract from HIS overall mission and goals and take appropriate measures.

Monitor and appraise performance of Sales & Solutions Desk to eliminate pitfalls, recover from service failures and deficiencies and deliver wow moments.

Manage staff levels and scheduling to provide full coverage during required business hours.

Ensure support staff is adequately trained on HIS products, policies, and procedures.

Act as escalation point and approve exceptions to standard practice and policy.

Secondary Duties

Participate with other managers to translate firm-wide strategic plans and goals into tactical plans and objectives.

Assist other managers by participating in training, workshops, best practices, etc.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages about 3 employees in Hancock Investment Services and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Solutions Desk.

Education and/or Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred: Post-graduate work and at least four to six years related experience and/or training

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
FINRA Series 7, 63, 66 and 24
