What Youll Do:
ShopperTrak is looking for an experienced, resourceful and strategic Director of Marketing with extensive knowledge of product marketing, brand management, customer engagement, and sales enablement. This will direct the efforts of the marketing functions and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with teams throughout the Organization.The Director of Marketing will lead a team responsible for building the ShopperTrak brand and developing strategies that communicate our market leadership. ShopperTrak is a global business, so collaboration with our offices in Asia, Americas, and Europe will be a big part of the job. ShopperTrak is an analytics company, so youll need to capture, understand, and share the data that shows how your team is performing versus goals. You will work closely with senior leadership, sales, and client services teams to ensure alignment on key initiatives and activities aimed at meeting/exceeding revenue targets. Responsibilities include:
Creating, implementing and measuring the success of: -A comprehensive marketing program that will enhance the Organizations image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications, and,
-All Organization marketing activities and materials including publications, agency relationships, channel development and the like.
Ensuring articulation of Organizations desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Organization, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
Ability to lead the development, communication and stewardship of global brand positioning, architectures and policies/guidelines.
Ability to develop strategic alignment between local/global brand strategies. Working with the global marketing team and global leaders to ensure the brand is properly reflected across varying regions and cultures.
Ability to integrate brand strategy into segmentation strategy.
Ability to develop a brand strategy that considers but is not limited to the following branding structures,
-Single brand identity
-Family of names
PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGEMENT
Defining positioning, messaging and value propositions for ShopperTraks products and target segments.
Translating business objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate growth.
Leading, developing, and owning the go-to-market execution for product launches. This will include developing the go-to-market strategy, creating sales collateral, website content, outbound marketing campaigns, case studies, and more.
Product evangelism and sales training.
SALES ENABLEMENT AND LEAD GENERATION
Create content that documents customer success stories
Develop presentations, videos, demos and other tools that help demonstrate ShopperTraks value proposition.
Collaborate with Sales to ensure efforts around Brand Management, Product Marketing, and Content Creation also generate leads that are captured and nurtured.
WHAT YOU NEED:
BS/BA in Marketing or related field
Minimum 7 years marketing experience
2 years experience at director level or 5 years experience at marketing manager
Passion for managing, mentoring and coaching a team of enthusiastic, growth-oriented marketing managers and specialists.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
A hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
