JOB DESCRIPTIONPOSITION OBJECTIVE
Lead a fantastic team responsible for telling the Konica Minolta story and promoting our brand in four major competencies of marketing communications: Branding/Graphic Design, Public Relations/Communications, Events and Content Marketing.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate marketing and business objectives into an annual marcom plan, specifying required goals, key messages, deliverables, vehicles and projects
Close collaboration with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Business Leadership) to drive aforementioned marcom plan and deliverables
Together with your team, strengthen Konica Minolta's brand through relevant messages in the selected communication channels
Major focus to help develop and strengthen Konica Minolta in the field of digital marketing
Leadership and management of agencies and freelance staff; member of the Corporate Marketing team
This position reports directly to the VP, Marketing and manages the creative services team, communications/PR team, events and trade show team and sports marketing while collaborating with other internal departments.
Branding & Creative Services
Implement corporate brand strategy and messaging across multiple mediums in the U.S.
Develop vertical marketing, targeted SMB, enterprise and graphics communications advertising strategy and tactics
Drive brand consistency across all marketing tactics
Management and vendor relations with local agencies and freelance staff (advertising, graphic design)
Support planning and production of integrated product and services marketing campaigns, to include ebooks, videos, customer success stories, advertising, email marketing, websites, etc.
Manage timely execution of press releases, newsletters, email campaigns, collateral, and other marketing tactics.
Work in collaboration with the Digital Marketing team to develop marketing communications to drive lead generation
Maintain U.S. campaign calendar, ensuring appropriate communication cadence
Reporting and campaign analytics, utilize information received to enhance future communications
Oversee content for grammar, accuracy and alignment to Konica Minolta's tone of voice.
Develop and drive the marketing strategy of Konica Minolta's corporate events and trade shows
Build key messaging that aligns with Konica Minolta's event message and theme.
Work in collaboration with production teams to ensure timely execution of trade show booths and event production.
Develop marketing strategy for event and trade show communications across multiple channels, including social media, email marketing, websites, print, online, etc.
Drive attendance to events through defining messaging and developing content, setting and directing channel strategies, and measuring and improving conversion rates to increase attendance efficiently.
Contribute to the on-site experience by leading the event marketing team, collaborating with event operations, and overseeing all visual aspects of the on-site experience.
Develop and support implementation of content marketing strategy and tactics
Assure content for all campaigns adheres to brand strategy
Lead teams in development of content for multiple vehicles including but not limited to website, blog, collateral, presentations, e-mail, press releases, advertising, white papers and case studies
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
7-10 years channel B2B marketing experience, preferably with IT background
3 years people management, leadership and coaching
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
Proficient with computer programs, including Microsoft Office applications
Proficient in marketing automation and CRM software, preferably Marketo and SAP CRM
Strong organizational skills, ability to follow up and high attention to detail
Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns
Solid understanding of sales and business processes
Ability to interact with other marketing teams to interpret and frame business needs into communications strategies
Has capabilities to interact regularly with other people within and outside the organization in planning, coordinating and executing marketing communications campaigns
Creative storyteller with exceptional writing skills
Experience hiring, guiding and managing agencies and freelance staff
