The Mgr, Pediatric Surgery Program is responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan for comprehensive management of the Surgical Center Program in order to ensure delivery of high quality surgical care to children. The Mgr, Pediatric Surgery Program works collaboratively with the Director of Surgical Services and the Medical Director of the Children's Surgery Program to coordinate all activities of the Pediatric Surgery Program to coordinate all activities of the Pediatric Surgical Program, including care delivery, quality assurance, performance improvement, education (professional and community), and research. The Mgr, Pediatric Surgery Program has 24 hour accountability for all aspects of the Pediatric Surgery Program including the support of staff expectations as outlined by the Surgical Center verification guidelines of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, the Mgr, Pediatric Surgery Program implements a broad range of projects and business functions in collaboration with the Director of Surgical Services.
Five years as a nurse
One year of formal nursing leadership
One year in clinical quality improvement
One year in perioperative services.
Bachelor Degree Nursing
Master Degree Nursing
