Job Description

The Performance Management Manager is responsible to drive Talent Management practices and objectives as well as enhance current initiatives and build future ones to support achievement of strategic business goals and operational objectives. Main responsibilities include: -Executes Performance Management initiatives in partnership with business and HR partners -Liaison with HR OandS teams in implementing Performance Management Talent Connection system including process, training, and tools -Partnering with PM Analyst on creating metric dashboards for PM training and communications -Work with Direct Mgr in driving and managing the Relative Performance Rating and Performance Review process for overall AIG. This includes process redesign, communication to key stakeholders and training -Metrics reporting on Talent initiatives via scorecards and reporting -Partner with specific business units, functional areas and local HR to align Talent Management strategies with overall business strategies via organizational development initiatives and ad hoc projects -Create talent management reports/presentations for management. -Works with key vendors and suppliers to identify business requirements, negotiate contracts, and implement systems -Liaison with LMS implementation team as a subject matter expert for Talent Management -As part of competency development core team, drives Functional Competency Development and Implementation for organization as part of Grading initiatives and integrates with HR Business Partners and Business unit leaders -4-6 years of direct experience in a talent management or HR processes, systems and tools -Experience with successfully partnering with senior management -Ability to build relevant plans and execute with little oversight -Ability to build strong relationships with various levels of management and employees. -Strong inter-cultural awareness -Strong program design, facilitation and presentation -Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment -Excellent communication skills; strong oral and written skills -Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadline -Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Talent Management systems -Bachelors degree Preferred Skills and Experiences -Experience working for a global insurance company, PandC experience as plus -Masters Degree in HRD, Organization Effectiveness or equivalent degrees Personal Attributes -Action focused, driven, able to work in a fast paced, sometimes ambiguous environment -Ability to change course quickly and manage multiple high profile initiatives successfully -Team player and collaborative working style -Ability to influence others, including upper management, staff, and other departments -Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment -Problem-solving and decision making skills -Sense of ownership, commitment, and accountability -Ability to think in a creative and innovative manner -Ability to deliver across multiple functions and geographies -Willingness to proactively seek solutions to how things can be improved, beyond traditional practice -Ability to demonstrate customer focus
